Bio: Jeff Brooke has been a news, business and sports journalist for the past 30 years. He’s currently a project editor with The Globe and Mail and its website, globeandmail.com, in Toronto. His entry into golf writing came in 2007, when The Globe assigned him to cover the Masters. Since then, he’s covered other tournaments such as the RBC Canadian Open and written on both the men’s and women’s game for The Globe and various publications, including ScoreGolf, Golf Canada Magazine and Global Golf Post.

Fun fact: Jeff is a father of twins whose only failure as a parent was not convincing his daughters to take up golf.

Handicap: 12

Favorite Courses: Internationally, Royal Dornoch in Scotland. On home soil, Devil’s Paintbrush in Caledon East, Ont. Cabot Cliffs in Inverness, N.S., tops the must-play list.
