Charl Schwartzel came from five strokes behind starting the final round to win the Valspar Championship on the first hole of a playoff against Bill Haas. Schwartzel shot 67 on Sunday to finish at 7-under-par 277 at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course.
Who Didn’t Win:
Haas was chasing his seventh Tour win and had a two-stroke lead on the back nine, but a late bogey cost him. Ryan Moore finished third, two shots behind, while amateur Lee McCoy, a senior at the University of Georgia, finished fourth, three strokes back.
