Jim Herman, the 191st-ranked player in the world, picked up his first career PGA Tour victory, beating Henrik Stenson by one stroke in the Shell Houston Open. Herman shot 67 at the Golf Club of Houston on Sunday to finish at 15-under-par 273.
WHO DIDN’T WIN:
Stenson had the lead midway through the back nine but Herman ran him down, denying Stenson his first Tour victory since 2013. Dustin Johnson finished solo third, two strokes behind.
