A junior at Kent State University, John Hahn won the 2009 Western Amateur, a tournament Tiger Woods once called “The Masters of amateur golf.” Ranked No. 24 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, Hahn’s college career so far has been as impressive as his win at the Western. As a freshman, Hahn was named the top golfer and the top freshman in the Mid-American Conference, the first unanimous selection for both awards. He is also the only two-time MAC Golfer of the Year in school history.
