Diego Velasquez

When you think of top Colombian golfers, the first name that comes to mind is Camilo Villegas, but the second should be Diego Velasquez. This season he finished fourth individually in the NCAA Championship, set a single-season scoring record for Oregon State with a 70.31 average and became the first golfer in program history to earn first-team All-American honors. The 22-year-old has vaulted 26 spots in the World Amateur Golf Ranking to No. 35.
