Daniel Miernicki, a rising junior at the University of Oregon, has worked his way into the college golf spotlight. As a freshman, he earned All-American honorable mention. Last season, Miernicki finished with a 70.62 stroke average (ninth best in Division I), posted seven top-10s, including two individual titles, and was named to the All-Pac-10 first team. Miernicki, No. 27 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, was also a member of the victorious U.S. Palmer Cup squad at Royal Portrush, where he posted a 2-2 record.
