I’m in Puerto Rico this week – yes, I’m privileged – and when I checked into the impressive and massive El Conquistador resort, I was greeted by a sign welcoming the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Seems to me that you might want to steer clear of that bunch. Just sayin’.
I didn’t need a lawyer at the El Conquistador golf course this morning but I needed a map reader. This group of greens are the smallest, slopiest (I just made that up as a word), graniest (that, too) and most confounding I’ve ever seen.
This course once hosted the Puerto Rico Amateur and only one player broke 80 in any of the three rounds.
Knowing that now, I feel better about myself.
