With all the NCAA Tournament brackets that already have been busted (mine included), it got me wondering who the top seeds in The Masters would be this year.
As you probably can tell, I have too much time on my hands at the moment.
Here are the No. 1s:
Tiger Woods – think UCLA in the ’60s or Duke in the Laettner-Hurley-Hill days
Rory McIlroy – maybe he isn’t coming in on a roll, but he’s still Rory
Justin Rose – Sean Foley says he’s due to win, so there you go
Phil Mickelson – I know he’s No. 10 in the OWGR RPI, but who cares?
The No. 2 seeds:
Charl Schwartzel – think Butler in the big dance the past two years
Lee Westwood – imagine how much fun the press conference would be
Brandt Snedeker – anyone who can putt like him can win at Augusta
Luke Donald – based on his overall body of work
Dick Vitale, what do you think?
