Since being named to design the golf course for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Gil Hanse has led a project that – at the very least – has been a bump or two removed from a smooth ride.

It’s on track, however, and making good progress, Hanse says. Frequent Post contributor Joe Logan spoke to the Pennsylvania-based course architect this week and posted a video of the conversation to his website, MyPhillyGolf.com.
