It’s that time of year for people in many parts of the golfing world to consider how well they are protected from the wind, rain and cold when they go out to play. In fact, proper outerwear is an essential in those places where the weather is inclined to get inclement, and one piece of gear the folks at Nike Golf want golfers to consider is its new Hyperadapt Storm-Fit jacket. Company designers say they worked closely with Nike athletes such as Englishman Paul Casey to create a product that combines flexibility with water-proof protection. This jacket, they add, is breathable, yet seam-sealed for 100 percent protection from water. Adjustable cuffs also offer the option of custom fitting, for increased defense from the rain. In addition, a technology called “no-sew” is used throughout the inner layer to minimize chafing. At the same time, a four-way stretch system has been added to the shoulders and arms to maximize mobility and get rid of restrictions during the swing.
