Tiger: Next step is up to Golf Channel

Tiger Woods spoke out Monday in China about the criticism of him from Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee — and Woods turned the issue over to The Golf Channel.
“All I am going to say is that I know I am going forward,” Woods said prior to an exhibition match against Rory McIlroy. “But then I don’t know what the Golf Channel is going to do or not. But that’s up to them.
“The whole issue has been very disappointing as he really didn’t apologize and he sort of reignited the whole situation. So the ball really is in the court of The Golf Channel and what they are prepared to do.”
The Golf Channel has not commented publicly about Chamblee’s comments, made in an on-line article last week. Chamblee gave Woods an F grade for his 2013 season, saying he had been “cavalier” with the rules.
As they like to say in the television world, stay tuned.
