Mini Driver Fills A Gap

In monitoring the ways that touring professionals and elite amateur golfers utilized their 3-woods in recent years, engineers at TaylorMade noticed that more and more of them were hitting those clubs off the tee as opposed to off the deck. So, they decided to create a version that was designed to accommodate that development. It is called the SLDR Mini Driver.
The all-steel, 260cc head of this offering is about 100 ccs larger than your average 3-wood, and it features a deeper face as well as some attributes that TaylorMade has found successful with its drivers, including a Speed Pocket that is made to increase ball speed and reduce spin and Inverted Cone technology that is intended to enhance forgiveness by expanding the sweet spot on the clubface.
