TaylorMade Introduces SLDR S

This spring has seen the release of the latest iteration of the TaylorMade Golf SLDR metalwood franchise, the SLDR S, and company officials say the clubs have been engineered to provide greater distance for golfers of all abilities and swing speeds by offering higher lofts.
Every model in this line, which includes drivers, fairways and Rescue clubs, boasts low-forward center-of-gravity placement, which is designed to promote faster ball speeds, higher launch angles and lower spin rates. According to TaylorMade technicians, the best way to maximize the performance attributes of that CG placement is to “loft up,” which is why the SLDR S drivers are available in 10, 12, 14 and 16 degrees.
In addition to featuring a sliding weight that enables players to encourage specific shot shapes, these 460cc clubs come with a satin silver crown finish and a black button back. They are available with a Fujikura Speeder 57 graphite shaft as the stock offering.
