Wilson 8802 Makes Comeback

The 8802 putter is one of the most iconic clubs in the history of golf, and Wilson is using the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chicago-based sporting goods company to roll out a modernized version of the flat stick whose original shape was designed and inspired by Arnold Palmer.
The King used it with great success for many years, and so did Ben Crenshaw, who is among the finest putters the game has ever known. The new version of the Wilson Staff 8802, with its classic heel-shafted head shape, is milled from 304 stainless steel. And unlike the original, which boasted a smooth, metal face, the one here has been double milled to encourage a truer roll.
