FootJoy’s StaCool Beats The Heat

Through the years, FootJoy has developed microcategories within its glove offerings to address specific consumer needs.
One example is the RainGrip line, which is designed to help golfers perform in inclement conditions. And WinterSof, which is made for cool weather play.
Now, the Fairhaven, Mass., company has come up with a product designed for golfers trying to play in hot and humid conditions. Its name is FJ StaCool.
Released this spring, StaCool utilizes what FootJoy officials describe as super fiber NanoFront technology that they developed in a partnership with the Japanese fabric concern, Teijin Ltd.
They say the key to the powerful grip that StaCool promotes comes from an island of proprietary Nanofiber surfaces that increases friction and enables golfers to better hold and control their golf clubs, no matter how muggy it may be.
According to Maria Bonzagni, senior director of marketing for Foot- Joy gloves and accessories, the new StaCool offering also improves absorption and increases slip resistance.
