Clemson Football Field Made At Dabo Swinney’s Home Course

The home golf course of Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney is showing its support of his Tigers as they head into tonight’s National Championship contest against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, South Carolina painted a regulation-sized Tiger paw to go along with a mini grid iron outside of its clubhouse. The field was made a few days before Christmas to support Clemson during its search for a second national championship. Here is drone footage of the field:

Both schools have notable golf alums. Clemson has a major champion in Lucas Glover and a handful of other proven PGA Tour pros including Jonathan Byrd, Ben Martin, Kyle Stanley and D.J. Trahan. Alabama has produced the likes of recent Tour winner Justin Thomas, Bud Cauley, Jason Bohn, Dicky Pride and Steve Lowery. The Tide earned its first individual national champion in 2015 when Emma Talley won the women’s title.
