In this week’s Official World Golf Ranking:
Jason Day (AUS) reclaims the No. 1 ranking, ending the 20-week run at the top by Jordan Spieth (US).
Last autumn, Day held the top spot twice.
In the ranking of Sept. 20 he claimed the No. 1 position from Rory McIlroy (N. IRL), but turned it over to Spieth the following week.
Day returned to the top for a three-week period, Oct. 18-Nov. 7, just before Spieth began his most recent streak.
He matches Vijay Singh (FIJI) and Ernie Els (S.AFR.) in making a third ascent to No. 1.
