Gary Player gave his granddaughter a hug after his ace.

If you watched the Masters Par 3 Contest, you witnessed a lot of aces — a record nine aces to be exact. Each of them is thrilling in its own way, but here are the top 5 hole-in-one moments from Wednesday at the Masters:

No. 5) Zach Johnson’s ball takes the long way home on No. 7

No. 4) Masters rookie Justin Thomas found the hole on No. 4

No. 3) Rickie Fowler matches Thomas

Not to be outdone, immediately following Thomas’ birdie, Fowler sent the crowd (and Thomas and Jordan Spieth) into a frenzy with this one on the same hole:

No. 2) Par 3 Contest champion Jimmy Walker

Walker fired this ace at No. 2 en route to an 8-under-par total, which set the Contest record for the all-time lowest score:

No. 1) The ageless Gary Player

Three-time Masters champion Gary Player electrified Augusta National when the 80-year-old became the oldest competitor to fire an ace in the Par 3 Contest.
