Golfers will do anything for a birdie. They’ll do anything to save one, too.
During his Monday practice round at TPC Sawgrass, Englishman Greg Owen saw a baby blue jay fall out of a tree and attempt to fly across the water near the 16th tee. When the bird didn’t make it across, Owen baffled his playing partner Brandt Snedeker and stripped down to his underwear to rescue the bird.
