Victim of Golf Course Attack Readmitted to Hospital

Golf course assault victim Michael Plumlee was readmitted to the hospital Saturday after a setback during his recovery.

Three days after being released from the hospital, assault victim Michael Plumlee was readmitted to the hospital after suffering a setback.

This was our initial report on the savage attack at a Carrollton, Texas, golf course, which resulted in a fractured skull and broken ribs.

“His head injury was so severe that doctors had to do surgery to put in a titanium plate,” reports Alex Boyer of Fox 4 News in Dallas.

Plumlee was admitted to the hospital on Friday, Nov. 25, after he was assaulted by another golfer wielding a golf club. He was released five days later, but returned Saturday, Dec. 3, for observation.

As medical bills mount, a GoFundMe page has been created to assist the Plumlee family.

Meanwhile, his accused assailant, Kevin Sivilay, is free on bond after being arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
