PODCAST: The Rise of the AJGA

Over four decades ago when the American Junior Golf Association started, they were running three tournaments per year. Now in 2018, they are scheduled to run 120 competitions.

But beyond the obvious growth in events, the AJGA has also grown in importance. It is now a vital breeding ground for college golfers while also playing a significant role in producing some of the best pro golfers on the PGA and LPGA Tours.

The AJGA’s executive director Stephen Hamblin sat down with our PostCast team to discuss where the association has been and where it is headed.

Also in this episode, Cassie and Sean make their picks for the Genesis Open as Tiger makes his second start of the season.
