This week on the PostCast, Lilia Vu joins Cassie Stein to talk about the upcoming NCAA Championship and the Curtis Cup.

Vu, the No. 1 player in the women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking, is “very excited” about the next few weeks.

On Friday, she begins play with her UCLA teammate at the NCAA Championship at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Oklahoma. UCLA enters the tournament ranked third in the country, according to Golfstat.

“Even after last year, when we didn’t make it through regionals, so we’re really pumped to get our retaliation back when we got through. … And we’ve all played at Karsten Creek … so we’re all really excited to get back and play,” Vu said.

Then, she will play for the United States at the Curtis Cup, which is set to take place June 8-10 at Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, N.Y., against a squad of counterparts from Great Britain and Ireland.

Listen to hear what part of Curtis Cup week she is most looking forward to, plus whom she really wants to team up with at Quaker Ridge and why.
