NEWS: McIlroy Accepts Offer For Florida Mansion

An overview of Rory McIlroy's Palm Beach Gardens property that he recently sold.

Rory McIlroy has accepted an offer for his Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., mansion, which he listed late last year for $12.9 million.

The Daily Mail first reported the development, and a listing for the property on Realtor.com shows the property’s sale status as pending.

McIlroy purchased the home for $9.5 million in 2013, then put it on the market last December after buying the former home of Ernie Els at The Bear’s Club in nearby Jupiter.

The Palm Beach Gardens house features 10,000 square feet of living space, including six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a gym, plus a backyard pool and putting green. The property borders a lake and has a boat dock.
