CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA | On a quiet Monday morning with a cool, damp layer of fog hanging over Charlotte Country Club, director of golf Eric Williamson worked his way through a series of signs to be displayed as part of a fundraising event later in the day, putting them in the proper order before getting on to other things.
It seemed like a small thing, but Williamson learned long ago the details matter, even if it’s part of a one-day outing that will come and go before the membership returns with the sunshine.
