Steve Skinner is the chief executive officer of KemperSports and KemperSports LIVE. Skinner became the second CEO in the company’s 47-year history when he succeeded company founder Steve Lesnik in 2008. Skinner began his career at KemperSports in 1998; he served as president and chief operating officer prior to becoming CEO. Under Skinner’s leadership, KemperSports is an established leader in the golf, hospitality, and live events industries and has grown to manage more than 140 golf courses, private clubs, sports venues and destination resorts nationwide. Several of its properties are regarded among the best golf destinations in the country, including Bandon Dunes, Sand Valley, Chambers Bay and Streamsong.
