Some of the most notable names in golf, sports and technology are investing in a virtual reality experience that aims to revolutionize off-course golf.
Created by entrepreneurs Ryan Engle and Rob Holzhauer, Golf+ is a virtual reality golf application that has players wear a device over their eyes while holding a controller in their hands. Users are then transported to real-world courses, a virtual hangout at Topgolf or unique putting courses. Upon looking down at address, the image of a golf club appears. The platform promises accurate physics that can reliably measure the swing as the controller moves back and forth.
