The golf business, like the game itself, can be a perilous occupation, with slumps and streaks aplenty. Just ask Ryan Moore, who has experienced all of the above as a tour professional since 2005 and also as one of the principals of True Linkswear, the golf shoe company he co-founded in 2009 with his brother and one-time caddie, Jason.
As a golfer, Ryan Moore captured the U.S. Amateur, the U.S. Public Links and the NCAA individual championship in 2004. Since joining the PGA Tour the following season, he has won five times on that circuit and played in one Ryder Cup, on the winning U.S. team in 2016. Moore has also been as high as No. 27 on the Official World Golf Ranking. But he has struggled at times with back and hand injuries as well as inconsistency. Recently, his spot in the world ranks has dropped into the mid-300s.
