LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA | With the suddenness of a phone call in the middle of the night, the news Tuesday evening that PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan is dealing with a medical situation serious enough to have two of his lieutenants temporarily take over his duties brought a decidedly human twist to a story that seems to have further fractured an already divided sport.
