The not-so-slow burning Sergio García offered an apology for his tantrum in Saudi Arabia. He was in Los Angeles this week but the European Tour was in Australia, where Ryan Fox won the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth (try saying that quickly). Also Down Under, Nelly Korda rounded out the family quartet – joining father Petr and siblings Jessica and Sebastian – by winning an Australian Open title. The men did it in tennis, the women in golf. Crikey, what a talented family!
Our photos of the week begin by paying tribute to Gene Littler, who died Friday at age 88. He won 29 PGA Tour titles, including the 1961 U.S. Open.
