Brynn’s journey

Luke Combs recently released an album called "Growin' Up and Getting Old." As an avid country music fan and loyal Luke Combs follower, I eagerly opened Spotify the day he shared his new album with the public. The main theme throughout the album is about lessons learned, new experiences and how one's heart transforms as they grow older. All of these lessons played through the speakers of my rental car as I headed to the Palm Springs Airport one morning after missing my second consecutive cut of 2023, this one coming at the Epson Tour’s IOA Championship in March. My flight would soon get delayed, causing me to miss my connection. As far as I knew, I was stuck in Palm Springs for one more night. I called my husband, choking back tears between words, hoping to hide my weakness and handle the situation in a way that would make him proud.
