While some tournaments may occasionally take place on a player's home turf, the feeling of being at home is created by the tournament itself.
Such is the case for players at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, conducted at Seaview Golf Club’s Bay Course near Atlantic City, New Jersey. In the case of a star like Brooke Henderson, she has grown up alongside the event and considers it a key part of her career ascendance.
"This event has always been very special to me,” Henderson said. “I received a sponsor exemption to this event in 2015 when I was trying to make my way out onto the tour, and that really meant a lot to me."

Since that initial appearance, Henderson has displayed exceptional consistency, never missing a cut in the tournament. Her finishes have steadily improved over the years, culminating in a second-place showing in 2021 and a resounding victory in 2022.
