When designing its women’s apparel line, Adidas Golf keeps two very important factors in mind: great style and advanced performance.
“Today’s female golf consumer has more options from a styling perspective than ever before,” said Shaun Madigan, director of apparel for Adidas Golf. “We want her to know that no matter what she chooses from us, the product will perform in all conditions. That, paired with fashion-forward styling, will give her the ultimate level of confidence to take onto the course.”
To achieve these complementary features, Adidas researches apparel trends, tests products that cater to her game, and incorporates design elements she likes, all while keeping performance and comfort at the forefront, Madigan said. He also emphasizes that Adidas never takes men’s styles and applies them to the women’s product range, instead focusing on “prioritizing her game and what she needs.”
In addition to how these products look and feel on the course, it’s important that they transition to other everyday activities such as socializing, shopping, or attending casual events, said Michelle Mulligan, Adidas Golf’s senior product manager for women.
“By integrating performance features such as stretch, breathability, and lightweight construction with stylish design, our versatile apparel enhances practicality and value, ensuring women look and feel great both on and off the course,” she said.
For the fall season, Adidas has a full range of tops, bottoms, dresses, layers, and outerwear blending all these elements, including these four standout pieces:
