Admired and respected golf journalist joins Global Golf Post

Glenview, Illinois (October 15, 2020) –James Dodson is back in the game, and in residence at Global Golf Post.

In 2006, he was the Louis D. Rubin Jr. writer-in-residence at Hollins University in Virginia.  Dodson is a distinguished alumnus of East Carolina University.

Dodson has been a prolific author. Among his most notable books are Final Rounds (1996), The Dewsweepers (2001) and A Golfer’s Life (with Arnold Palmer).  He has twice won the Herbert Warren Wind/USGA International Book Award – in 2004 for Ben Hogan, An American Life and in 2012 for American Triumvirate: Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan, and the Modern Age of Golf, which inspired a documentary by Golf Channel with a script written by Dodson.
