Jim McCabe

Not long into his 23-year career at The Boston Globe, Jim McCabe was blessed to have been assigned to cover golf – from juniors to amateurs to the pro game. He was immediately hooked. He loved it all, and what was opened up was a world of passion that continued with a nine-year run at Golfweek magazine and then three years at the PGA Tour. Born and raised and still living in the Boston area, McCabe is a freelance writer who produces a weekly digital golf newsletter “Power Fades.”
