During a flight to Edinburgh, Scotland, Rosie Bailey sat next to a woman from Illinois who had never had a passport before – until a few days prior to that flight. The woman had decided to take a chance and travel to a completely different part of the world. Why? She wanted to meet a group of friends to go horseback riding. Bailey was captivated. In particular, she admired the woman’s sense of adventure. She also loved her willingness to step outside of her comfort zone and create once-in-a-lifetime memories. “I found it absolutely awe-inspiring, and I had an idea: that golf, Scotland and travel could collide in this way for women at any stage of life, too,” said Bailey, a Scot who has worked in the golf industry since her days as a competitive amateur player.
